CLAIMANTS FILE OBJECTION IN VERASUN BANKRUPTCY CASE
CHARLES CITY, Iowa -- Nov 21, 2008 Mark Kuhn, a Charles City, Iowa corn farmer and an American Corn Growers Association (ACGA) board member, released a statement today as the spokesperson for a group of Iowa and Minnesota corn producers, that they will file an objection in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to the VeraSun Energy Corporation’s motion to establish procedures to reject corn contracts for current and future delivery.

October 18, 2008 - by Keith Bolin as written for the Bureau County Republican, IL regarding Meadowbrook Farm Cooperative. “October is Co-op Month.” In the Midwest Ag Journal, an edition of the High Plains Journal, dated Oct. 6, Page 4B, they quote, “Cooperatives are special! Cooperative people are special! There is no other business model in which the customer has such a direct voice in the operations of the business, or shares in the economic success of the business.” The author of this quote obviously has never been a shareholder in Meadowbrook Farm Cooperative of Rantoul, Ill. Just as John Kerry was “swift boated” in 2004, these shareholders have been “meadow brooked” in 2004, and the “meadow brooking” continues.

Corn Farmers Oppose Plan to Eliminate Domestic, Renewable Energy Plans

Position out of Touch with Mainstream Scientists, Administration and Casts Doubt on the Need for Renewable Energy Production
WASHINGTON, Aug. 27, 2008 – Keith Dittrich, Chairman of the Board of the American Corn Growers Association (ACGA) recently attended a senatorial candidate debate sponsored by the Nebraska Farm Bureau in Lincoln, Neb. Responding to comments made by former U.S. Agriculture Secretary Johanns regarding climate change, in which he suggested that the verdict was out on how much effect human kind is having on climate change, Dittrich stated that Johanns position is out of touch with nearly all of the scientific community and even his own past Administration.
